Eltizam Asset Management Group said it was using a maintenance mobility solution, Tafawug GO, implemented by its subsidiary Tafawuq Facilities Management, to serve clients amid the ongoing crisis due to coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Tafawug GO is designed to support technicians receive, carry out, and close work orders digitally, without the need to have face-to-face interaction with other staff or physically use printers, scanners, and other required devices.
A leading physical asset management organization in the Middle East, Eltizam said it has found advanced technology to be a boon in its efforts to serve clients efficiently and maintain business continuity in such tough times.
Over the past 12 months, Eltizam has launched several projects as part of its five-year technology roadmap which has brought multiple benefits to the company particularly in light of the present global crisis.
Some of these technology solutions have hugely reduced face-to-face interaction within the company or with clients and suppliers, it stated.
Throughout the organization, it also rolled out the next-generation SAP4 HANA enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, which enabled the company’s management teams to approve transactions remotely, even through mobile devices in real-time.
This has widely reduced the need for printing and transporting documents that require signature, said the statement from the company.
During the first quarter of the year, Eltizam further introduced Nestrom, an online management system for quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) inspections which also provided the benefits of paperless and contactless work.
Meanwhile, its e-banking integration has been continuously facilitating the payment of suppliers and service providers through bank transfers.
In support of companies and residents adhering to the UAE government’s directives to stay at home, Three60 Communities, another of Eltizam's subsidiaries, has launched ‘QuickPay’ to facilitate contactless online payment for its customers. The technology will soon be adopted by its other units.
CEO Chris Roberts said: "Technology plays a critical role in enabling us to provide innovative asset management solutions to our clients and customers. Therefore, we follow technological advancements in the sector very closely, and explore ways to constantly incorporate them into our day-to-day operations."
"This aspect of Eltizam’s culture is also evident in our ‘Get Wonky’ program. It is this approach that enables us to provide seamless FM services and address the rising demand for sanitization services during the ongoing crisis," he stated.
According to him, Eltizam is planning to launch an exciting development by the year-end using Internet of Things (IoT).
Through its connected building project, Eltizam is set to pave the way to a new era in facilities management in the UAE and the region, he stated.
Technology is one of the six focus areas of Eltizam Asset Management Group. In line with this vision, the Group had announced an Dh5 million investment in technology last year, followed by the implementation of an array of technological solutions to enhance its services, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
