Project Overview


Background

Manara Developments Company BSC is developing a mixed-use development project known as Hasabi Waterfront Development. Located in the south of the country, next to the Durrat Al Bahrain archipelago, Hasabi Waterfront Development will feature both residential and commercial components. The project is owned by Darari Investment Company W.L.L.


Scope of Work

The project will include three and four bedroom villas, three and four storey residential buildings, commercial units, food and beverage outlets, along with beach facilities. Each villa will boast its own private jetty.

Commercial developments will include sea-view restaurants and coffee shops, along with a host of retail outlets and beach facilities.

The project will be carried out in two phases:

Phase 1 will cover the construction of:

  • 3-storey residential units 
  • Central islands 
  • Plush villas and apartments 
  • Installation of safety and security features

Phase 2 will also include the construction of central islands and residential units, in addition to the following:

  • Canal villas (720 type-1 and 114 type-2)
  • 70 canal apartments
  • 30 small and five big marinas
  • Beaches
  • Gym and healthcare clubs
  • Infrastructure works like roads, sewage, telecommunication ducts and utilities
  • Sea-view restaurants and coffee shops
  • Swimming pool 
  • Parks and garden areas
  • Installation of safety and security features


Finance

The partnership of Darari Investment Company W.L.L. and Manara Developments Company BSC will be financing the construction of Hasabi Waterfront Development.


Additional Notes

Hasabi is a large mix-use project uniquely situated in the south of the Kingdom of Bahrain, with charming sea views and constructed to the latest construction standards. It is a development with a series of canals providing water frontage for all buildings, some built over the water and providing shaded mooring for private boats. A central club island offers a multitude of facilities from restaurants to sports indoor/outdoor facilities, pools, a large beach, day pavilions and floating hotel rooms. Two urban marinas with restaurants, retail and water sports attract residents and outside visitors.

The project hosts units with sea front views, each with its own private jetty, while the project also accommodates for retail shops, cafes and restaurants at the waterfront to accommodate for the daily requirements of the households residing in these villas. It also offers a wide range of water facilities in addition to multi-storey three and four floor residential buildings.
