Project Overview


Background

A water park project in central Manama, Bahrain, is being developed by the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, in co-operation with the Capital Trustees and the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD).

This development, which will be spread across an area of 65,700 sq m, will be done in two phases:

  • Phase One: Includes construction of boundary wall, guards room, infrastructure works, electricity connections and other public amenities. 
  • Phase Two: Construction of the main water park.


Scope of Work

Scope of work includes construction of the following:

  • Water park construction 
  • Boundary wall
  • Guards room
  • Electricity connections
  • Safety and related amenities
  • Washrooms
  • Changing rooms
  • Lockers
  • Shower area
  • Prayer room



Finance

Bahrain's Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, along with Capital Trustees and the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) are financing this project.
