Project Overview
Background
Oil majors Shell and Oman Oil Company signed a memoranda of understanding (MoU) for the development of an upstream project of a gas-to-liquid plant in Duqm.
Scope of Work
Construction of the gas-to-liquid processing plant includes:
- Air compression system
- Feed gas compressor and dehydration
- Fractionation column and product treating unit
- Gas and water seperation treatment unit
- Natural gas liquid (NGL) recovery unit
- Nitrogen generation and distribution system
- Substation
- Marine offloading facilites
- Fire and safety units
Finance
Shell and Oman Oil Company are financing the development of this plant.
