Project Overview
Background
Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company is building a bitumen factory in Sohar, Oman. The aim is to meet the growing demand for bitumen and produce quality bitumen for the end users.
Scope of Work
The project will include:
- Bitumen puffing unit
- Offsite facilities
- Propane de-asphalting unit
- Vacuity distillation unit
- Other related facilities and services
Finance
Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company secured the finance of the project after agreeing deals with the local banks.
