E K Kanoo, Michelin celebrate 60 years of partnership


Bahrain-based Ebrahim K Kanoo recently welcomed a high level delegation from Michelin Africa India and Middle East (AIM) to its corporate office in Bahrain to celebrate 60 years of partnership between the two companies.

Marc Pasquet, president and managing director, Michelin AIM, and Naser Shashaa, director of Middle East Cluster, met with Ebrahim K Kanoo managing director Talal Kanoo, director Ebrahim Kanoo, chief executive officer Mike Brightmore, chief operating officer Stefan Moench and senior manager for tyre division and Tyreplus, Ahmed Saeed, to discuss the historic relationship which saw the introduction of Michelin tyres to Bahrain over 60 years ago, said a statement from the company.

During the visit, the group also discussed growing market potential for premium tyres in Bahrain, it said.

Ebrahim K Kanoo currently operates three Tyre Plus service stations that offer comprehensive services and a wide range of tyres, lubricants, batteries, suspension systems and brake systems from commercial brands for all kinds of cars, it added.

Tyreplus stations also provide other services, including tyre and wheel alignment and light mechanical work to a wide variety of customers ranging from walk in customers to large fleets.

The company supports six advocate dealers for Michelin in the kingdom, bringing high quality, Michelin tyres and services to customers in Bahrain, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
